Overview:
The Constance Lake Educational Authority is seeking interested parties for the position of Human
Resources and Finance Manager (HRFM).

The HR/Finance Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, leading the administrative team in all the
areas of Human Resource Management functions, and the interpretation and implementation of
policies/procedures/ guidelines. In addition, the HRFM is responsible for the financial management of
the Constance Lake Education Authority, full accounting cycle which includes budgeting, AR, AP,
Payroll, control and interpretation of financial statements.

Qualifications & Skills:
A post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources and Accounting/Commerce with experience
working in the area of Human Resources and Finances teams OR a combination of education/training
and experience that may be considered.

• A sound knowledge of finance management and human resource management practices is
essential.
• Ability to develop and revise clear and effective financial management and human resources
policies and procedures that are implemented and adhered to.
• Experience working in a First Nations education system is considered an asset.
• Open to learning, sharing ideas, accepting feedback and adept at maintaining. self-awareness.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including presentation skills when
required.
• Display excellent interpersonal skills while building positive relationships.
• Ability to work with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
• Quality of work meets a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Take the initiative and provide advice within a scope based on judgment, facts and alternatives.
• Foster collaborative relationships and provide excellent customer service to internal and
external stakeholders.
• The ability to keep organized and complete work with minimal supervision.
• A readiness to work closely with the Education Director and Principals as well as all staff within
the CLEA Board.

whom must be a current or most recent immediate supervisor, along with telephone numbers and email

This is a full-time, contract position that includes competitive salary and benefits including vacation and
health benefits. The work schedule would be five days per week. The work location is at MHEC.
